Traditional timber frame joinery is our stock and trade. We use solid timbers, most cut from our own sawmill. We have over forty-five highly skilled employees who are focused on ensuring our clients the highest quality timber construction in the country. We pride ourselves on building long term relationships, which is evidence of our focus on a highly communicative, smooth building process.

We operate out of a 27,000 square foot beamery & design facility. Our timber-wrights have over 250 years of collective timber framing experience. We have designed, engineered and cut some of the most complex frames in the country; as a result our master timber-wrights have an unparalleled knowledge of the technical details of compound joinery. We utilize the appropriate technology, ranging from a 5-axis CNC cutting machine to the traditional mallet and chisel. From traditional timber frame joinery and trim work to intricately hand carved details we have the ability to help you create your legacy.

Our design team works primarily in Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2004 using the most advance 3-D design software available to translate our designs into production drawings for machining and shop work. We remain one of the few timber framers that still pre-assemble most of the frame's parts and pieces in our shop to ensure that it will go together on site as scheduled.

We also "raise" our own timber frames. When your project is started, it is assigned to one of our master timber-wrights for its duration. During the cutting phase of the project, the designated timberwright & his crew work with our design department to ensure that every cut is precise. Later, when it's time to raise the frame, this same team travels to your site and erects the timber frame.
